Lots of fun coming up!

1).  Youth conference is coming up! Registration is $45.00. I'll have registration forms for you this Wednesday or you can download your own by going to this site: www.thepursuitofhappiness2013.net You DO NOT need to fill out a housing form as we already live in the stake. :) Money should be turned into the ward clerk using a tithing slip. Mark the other section with youth conference.

2).  This video was presented today in our combined YM/YW class today. Check out the progression of the two in the video. :) I might have teared up watching this video. I know, cheesy, but it got me.

3).  Missed church today or need a reminder about what was discussed? Check out the Family History section on lds.org. I used it tonight and I now have 8 names ready to go to the temple. Erica checked it out tonight also and now has 2 names ready for the temple. Also, you may get your very own limited use Temple recommend. 

4).  Apply it to Personal Progress:
Individual Worth #6: When you participate in family history, you come to understand your identity and individual worth. Visit with your living relatives to learn as much information about your family history as possible. Then complete a pedigree chart of your family and list the temple ordinances that have been completed for each person.

5).  Just a reminder that mutual this Wednesday (May 1st) will be individual classes. Class presidencies: Have you discussed your activity with your advisor/leader?

6).  For graduating seniors and their parents there will be an Institute Broadcast and dinner on Sunday, May 5th at 6:00pm.

7).  There will be 2 baptisms this Sunday following church for Sasha Perrett and Andy Catalan.  

8). Kayla B., Erica G., and Malina M. have the YCL conference to attend May 3-4, 2013.

9).  The next stake activity is on May 15th and starts at 5:30pm and will end at 8:30pm.  It is important for all YW to attend even if you are unable to attend camp this year.

10).  4th year hike is May 17th-18th.  More information to follow.

11). and lastly, mark your calendars for avocado fun!  We will be picking avocados for our fundraiser this year at 9:00am on May 11th.  Be sure to wear grubby clothes and shoes you don't mind getting dirty.
